NaviExpert is the winner of SZEROKI PAS competition of Computerworld magazine

On the19th November during Gala of the 5th Forum of Broadband Services NaviExpert was announced a winner of SZEROKI PAS competition in the category the most promising “broadband” service. SZEROKI PAS competition is organised upon initiative of Computerworld weekly magazine. Its objective is selection of the most interesting services, products and enterprises of the broadband market in Poland.

The competition promotes and awards those entities which indicate trends in the broadband market, introducing products and services of remarkable significance for its development and competitiveness and presents enterprises promoting social activity – not only in the Internet.

As it was expressed in substantiation, „NaviExpert and its satellite online navigation system for a mobile phone... maps are constructed in such a way as to send data as little as possible data packages during download. It guarantees optimisation of costs of using such navigation... “

The following services were nominated in the category of most interesting broadband service:

  • ATM SA – National system of multimedia content distribution - ATMAN CDN,
  • Cray Technologies - Virtual Call Centre service, i.e. Call Centre as SaaS application (Software as a Service),
  • DOLSAT Sp z o. o. – building a light pipe network FTTB (light pipe to building),
  • NaviExpert sp. z o.o. - NaviExpert navigation system,
  • SGT SA – digital cable television JAMBOX,
  • UPC Poland - UPC Internet Turbo service.

Besides NaviExpert the company SGT received an award ex aequo for JAMBOX service.
