Main functions of NaviExpert system

NaviExpert offers all functions proposed by traditional navigation systems and several possibilities available only in NaviExpert.

Main functions of NaviExpert are:

Quick route drawing from a current location to a given destination

You select your destination and NaviExpert automatically draws a route from your current location to your destination

Advanced route drawing

Plan your route from start to finish. You can plan your route prior to starting your journey

Route drawing via intermediate points

A perfect tool for professionals (sales representative, courier) or for tourists (most interesting monuments in the area)

Selection of route type

User can choose between e.g. short routes, favouring main roads, and first of all Premium routes using Community Traffic technology.

Management of journey plan – adding/removing points, change of order

This is a function of adding/removing points, change of order. Change of your plans is not a problem anymore!

Graphical navigation on the map

While driving, you see your position on the route; you also see characteristic points located near the route (junctions, gas stations, speed cameras etc.)

Voice navigation

For the whole time, a professional pilot gives you support, signalling necessity of changing direction, turning back or decreasing speed. Look at the road and not at the display! You don’t have to!

Defining favourite points

Save your home, workplace, favourite ice-cream parlour, places where you feel well. You can easily bring them from memory and draw routes with reference to them.

Day/night mode

Adjust your navigation to the time of day and ... own preferences. After dark the system can automatically switch to night mode.

3D or 2D map view

If you prefer a traditional view – like in a paper map – choose 2D, if you prefer a modern visualisation – use option of three-dimensional view (3D)

POI base (points of interest)

Here you will find cash machines, restaurants, gas stations, florists’. Thousands of places with exact address, telephone number, opening hours. Due to a comprehensive catalogue you will find exactly what you need. You may select POI as, e.g., a target point of your route. You may also search for the nearest POI, browse POI on the map, download extra information on a given facility, and even make a phone call straight from our program to the nearest hotel.

Do you want to see gas stations, speed cameras, cash machines on the map? No problem!

Tracking location on the map without navigation

Check, on an especially prepared graphical visualisation, a place where you actually are. It is a very useful function during sightseeing on foot!

Quick, automatic route computing

Did you detour from your route? Don’t worry! Don’t do anything, wait for a while... NaviExpert shall draw a new route by itself and after a short while it will be displayed on your phone.

Warnings about stationary speed cameras, dangerous spots and places of frequent road inspections. You know where to slow down, so you don’t pay. Additional comments are not necessary.

Reporting new/unnecessary speed cameras and other points directly from the car

Every day we update information on roadworks and route sections temporarily excluded from use.

Forecasting driving time

NaviExpert precisely gives driving time at a given time, using real data about road traffic, obtained due to Community Traffic technology. Knowing exact driving time you can properly plan the moment of starting your journey, avoiding stress and unnecessary haste.

Option of avoiding paid road sections

After switching this option on NaviExpert draws routes avoiding paid sections – only those where toll gates are actually located.
