Photoradars

NaviExpert system maps include information on photoradars. The information is continuously updated, so the NaviExper users are not provided with obsolete data (as the users of other navigation systems).

Photoradar database in NaviExpert system is continuously updated based, but not limited to, on the users' reports.

How it works?

  • There is a new radar in a given spot (ex. at suburban area)
  • A passing-by NaviExpert user reports the photoradar with a simple command
  • Special software at NaviExpert servers verifies the report
  • Photoradar marking is now set on the NaviExpert map and since that moment it is visible for any other system users

Latest photoradar data, best map

Thank to latest information from NaviExpert drivers, the system has the newest data on location and "direction of looking" of photoradars. Only NaviExpert provides the drivers with "today's" database (you can see an example on updated map).

When you are close to the photoradar position, NaviExpert informs you about it with voice message. Of course, we recommend safe driving at all places.

Using the updated photoradar database does not require any additional operations. It does not require downloading updates and saving them on memory cards.

New photoradar can be reported straight from your phone. All you have to do is press the '2' key when you pass the radar. In this way the user can also report an unnecessary warning. Photoradar location (or no photoradar) can be also reported with Internet map - WebMapa.

NOTES:

  • The GPS position is read then you press the '2' key, not when you choose the menu option. You do not have to hurry with choosing an option.
  • Our system continuously verifies your reliability as an user. Do not report unnecessary information, because you reliability will be reduced and future reports will be ignored. Increase your reliability by reporting real photoradars, even if they are already visible in the system.
  • Photoradar not necessarily becomes visible right after reporting. Sometimes it is put there after a few reliable reports. With time, when you gain high reliability, your reports will be realized immediately.
  • For safety reasons the photoradar should be reported by the passenger, not the driver.
