You are browsing this website, because your computer is connected to Internet. Would it be so useful without access to the network (in off-line mode)?
It is the similar with navigation. Real, modern navigation works in on-line mode, using latest data stored on an Internet server.
NaviExpert works based on precise map of Poland that is continuously verified and updated, so the users are always provided with latest versions of the maps.
As soon as the destination point is chosen, maps (with indications for designated route) are downloaded from the NaviExpert server. Maps are optimized, so that the downloaded data portions are as small as possible, which guarantees cost optimization for such navigation.

a) Radio signals from many satellites (1) are sent to GPS module (2) for precise determination of coordinates.
GPS determines the receiver location with high precision (up to a few meters), which enables the system to guide the user along the route and to inform about any direction change.
b) GPS module (2) communicated by means of wireless Bluetooth and cable connection with a mobile phone with NaviExpert application installed (3).
A handy phone does not disturb the driver - its size does not impede car driving. The GPS module can be put near the windscreen, at the dashboard or even in the glove box.
c) NaviExpert application in mobile phone (3) connects with NaviExpert server (4) using the economical GPRS data transmission protocol. According to the wish of the driver, who indicates the destination point, the application downloads proper map from NaviExpert server and begins navigation, informing about maneuvers and warning about obstructions and photoradars.
The NaviExpert system user is always provided with newest maps, which means that information about road conditions may have been updated just a few minutes earlier.

NaviExpert does not only guides precisely to the destination, but also proposes fastest route based on statistics of thousands of passings of real drivers.
NaviExpert guides along the route that passes round sections with roadworks and even temporary traffic jams. The route depends on hour of the day (it is different in rush hours and different at night), weather and road conditions.
NaviExpert is the system created by drivers' community, who warn one another about road obstructions, dangers and who add information on new photoradars and by-passes to the existing map.
